So I was able to get everything homing corect and heating up with a duet 2 wifi since I burned out my motherboard. Took me a day or two vut finally got it working by taking sections from a few different configs I found online and little confusing knowledge I have of the duet system and having to map down even the bathroom breaks you take or it might not work correct. Anyway I tried slicing on the cura lulzbot and the prusa slicer and then printing but both times the printer moves really really really slow once I start printing. I tried using cnc kitchens start up code he posted when he did his conversion but still moves slow. And as I’m writting this I think I figured it out but still need to know where to change it. I believe I remember reading that RRF uses speeds that are calculated per minute and per second like normal marlin does. So is that it or something else and where do I change that?
Is the Duet running Drunken Octopus firmware?
No it’s running RepRapFirmware. Duet doesn’t run marlin.
I only bring it up because this forum is for the Drunken Octopus firmware based on Merlin, in case no one responds. You might have better luck on a Duet platform for help.
Oh yeah. I had drunken octopus running before I fried my Rambo. I have a new Rambo getting here by the end of month but not sure if I can use it be sue I accuden3ordered a Rambo 1.4 and I don’t know if that will work on s Taz 5. I don’t remember seeing a drunken octopus for a 1.4 Rambo on Taz 5.Between the Taz and my prusa I’m not joking I fried 4 authentic Rambo motherboards and about 5 clones. I’m done frying them. I like to tinker a lot so I have the motherboard out in the open and it’s so easy for a tiny wire or a screw to fall in the motherboard or hey underneath it and you forget or not know about it and turn on your printer and there does a board. But
