Which Drunken Octopus revision would be best for TAZ 5 (over stock Marlin 1.x.x) to add babysteps, BL Touch, and linear advance? Sometimes the latest and greatest has bloat and looking for the best base option. I have the Visual Studio Code dev/build environment up and running.
And is there a reason the hours and prints record is not part of Drunken Octopus? My guess is to limit writes to EEPROM, but I’m curious.
I went with release 58 if for no other reason than it is the latest release citing the TAZ 4/5 specifically. I did a bit of customizing and all is well. If there is a reason I should update to a more recent tipsy squid, I’d appreciate the advice.
